We have a GPO that applies a default quota for all (domain) users on Vista workstations. &nbsp;However, it seems that this quota is also being applied to some system accounts such as the following.<br />
<br />
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM<br />
NT AUTHORITY\Local Service<br />
NT AUTHORITY\Network Service<br />
<br />
We can't really have these accounts under a quota. &nbsp; I'm not sure why these are being applied.<br />

We have a GPO that applies a default quota for all (domain) users on Vista workstations.  However, it seems that this quota is also being applied to some system accounts such as the following.

The Windows operating systems have distinct methodologies for designing and implementing networks, and have specific systems to accomplish various networking processes, such as Exchange for email, Sharepoint for shared files and programs, and IIS for delivery of web pages. Microsoft also produces server technologies for networked database use, security and virtualization.

Windows Networking

Windows Vista is an operating system created by Microsoft as the successor to Windows XP. It was intended for PCs, workstations and laptops, and shares the same code base as its successor, Windows 7. New features included an updated graphical user interface (GUI) and visual style dubbed Aero, a new search component called Windows Search, redesigned networking, audio, print and display subsystems, and new multimedia tools. Vista aimed to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network, using peer-to-peer technology to simplify sharing files and media between computers and devices. Windows Vista included version 3.0 of the .NET Framework, allowing software developers to write applications without traditional Windows APIs.

Windows Vista

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
