We use 3com switches, and have just deployed a new wing of the network.
Everything was fine until about a week ago and all of a sudden some computers couldnt get to some servers.
Looking into it more it appears that for example, a cliernt pc with ip addres 10.13.10.77 can only ping even number ips but not odd numbered.
I have checked all settings on the switch and cannot see anything wrong, or in dhcp.
Anyone have any ideas?
A tracert gives the same path upto the local router interface on the local distribution switch and then no further for odd addresses

Found out what it was, turns out the firmware on the 4500G is the problem, we disconnected one of the aggregated links and its all ok now.
Time to rollback firmware I think.
Thanks
