Asked by oldmen in Windows Networking, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 7
Hi everybody
I have a strange situation here.
On our Network is one W2K3-DHCP Server working.
Newly installed XP Clients get IP-Adrresses and options BUT - Vista and Windows7-Clients not.
We turned off the Firewall for Testing Purposes.
If we manually configure the correct Gateway (only one Subnet) the Win7-Client will catch a correct IP while running. Then i boot the Client, and have again an APIPA-Adrress.
In that Network is also a Cisco-Device that play a DHCP-role (different Subnet) for IP-Telefon.
We have tested Client directly attached and behind a IP-Telefon, no Difference.
Im a bit confused
Has any body a idea
Thanks and greetings
oldmen
