Need a network GUI for clients.

We are in need of the best and most friendly interface we can get to install on some client machines to give those people some protection, some understanding on what is going on with their network, and some peace of mind.

We are always working with clients that feel like they  have some sort of infection be it Spyware, Virus, Trojan Horse, a Bot infection, or whatever. While we can utilize command line interfaces most of our clients can not no matter how computer literate or illiterate they are.

Is there a package available, other than the resource meter on Windows, that will monitor a person's network and tell them if their computer is being used as a bot while they sleep, or if an unusual port is open, or how much traffic is going through a port at any one time, or will actually establish a baseline by gathering normal usage over a period and then alerting the user should usage get out of bounds?

The problem we have is that while these clients are counting on us to assist in times of need, or calm them down in times of worry, we need to be able to quickly, and easily, and even remotely look at their current status and provide answers. That is much easier with a good interface as opposed to confusing them with so much geek talk that they become despondent and just walk away.

Of course we train them about the always important tasks of having good anti-virus programs, very strong passwords, not using the same password everywhere, not opening texts in emails, being very careful about which Internet sites one visits, etc...

Sometimes these people just want to see "normal" and know what 'normal' is for them.

Thank you,

Mike
