Hi there guys.

We have recently set up a new network in our new office.  We now have a server which handles the DHCP  and other machines connect to the internet through this. And it sits in our comms room.

I have SQL Server 200 installed on this server, for some reason whenever i try to make a connection to an SQL database we have hosted somewhere else (Hostway - Germany) it fails and brings down the internet for the entire office until i reboot the server.  This is now happening when i even run .NET c# Console applications  from my Laptop on the network.

Can someone explain why this would be happening and how i can fix it?

OR even what to look for because i cant find anything!!

Thanks
