The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Developing software on a PDA

I don't know what category in wireless to put this question but here goes:

Sales reps go to different houses to setup demonstrations.  These demonstrations are set by a telemarketer making appointments.  When the appointment is made, they put the information into the main database located in dallas.  Sales reps will be in cities such as little rock AR, Dallas TX and Houston TX.  

After the telemarketer assigns an appointment to a sales rep, it should go to the pda (or the pda should check the server every 15 minutes or so) and put them order relative to what house they are in now - by distance.  

Now that I have described the problem, here is the question(s):

1) Can a PDA be used for this - I do NOT want the rep to have to carry a cell phone with him/her and worry about things.  I simply want them to have a PDA or blackberry which connects and download information automatically.

2) How do I get directions to the PDA?  I like how mapquest software works...
