Dear Mr Raisor,

I Do not know the basic thing is that coding and programming gonna work as a PDU spy , does is mean i will have to make some softwre which is similer like PDU spy???

and then how? can u explain me some basic things for the same? how shall i start with and what parameters i shall take into account? i am blank about it!!!

Thank you for ur reply
Rachel

Dear Rachel,

PDUspy is a highly technically oriented tool, that will help you understand what is inside a short message (SMS), and that will enable you to create short messages!

A basic requierment is to get familiar with it's documentation, to understand how to use it and which parameters to utilize to successfuly work with the tool.

After having installed PDUSpy, you should start PDUspy with a command line argument to get access to all advanced functions and options:

pduspy -enablefulllength

From your other questions (in the Programming Area) related to this topic I understood that you need an interface related to Siemens Mobile Phones -> personally I am more into Nokia as they provide Open Source Projects for doing what you're up to do -> the PDUSpy tool supports Siemens and that is why I suggested downloading the full source code in C at sourceforge.net -> in another question of yours you've stated that you're looking for C code -> so, to bring it all together: after being familiar with the tool's documentation you'll be able to use it -> if you have good knowledge of C programming you'll even be able to extend the application ... if you'd try to get in contact with the author of the tool you might be getting into a collaborative project (you might also join the project at sourceforge.net!) from which you may profit as much as the author would!

Another hint may be: http://sourceforge.net/search/?words=scmxx&type_of_search=soft ... there are a number of Siemes Mobile related projects that might offer you the ready-to-use interface you're looking for!

I hope that my suggestions enable you to come to a successful solution!

Best regards,
Raisor

Dear Rachel,

All this is surely about points, but believe me that your problem has come to a point where I'm thinking about contacting an Administrator to refund the points to you ... my impression is that I was only of little help for you ... so please, don't think about points!

To get this done until Monday will be heavy ... what I need is a detailed description of what you're up to do exactly!

- What is your basis? -> what shall you present on Monday?
- What have you been able to prepare already? -> tools? -> programming?
- What is the result of what you've already been able to do? -> what are the missing steps?
- What do you think is neccessary to complete on what you've already done -> any success yet?
- What would be the consequences if you fail? -> How important is this?

Best regards,
Raisor

Dear Mr Raisor,

First of all sorry for everything i wrote , i am really in need of experts view and solution so i asked u abt points sorry for that, would not repeat it for sure. you r so kind to me and i did mistake, sorry for that but according to u only i am working on my project.

Well, about my poject :

1) I used PDU spy  to send message on my mobile it worked well,
2) now i am having acessories like PDU spy , Siemens s55 mobile, Bluetooth device for laptop and mobile as well

what i have asked to do

* write a programm in C or C++ so it will do the same work what PDU spy is doing for PDU spy only.

MY QUERRIES(Very important but very wiered for ur eyes)

* is there any softwre (specially C++ or C) to make PDU spy type thing.
which has to ask me in the end
i) what is the destination no?
ii) what is the message u want to send

and then it would be able to send it.

Actually the problem is i did bot understand how i shall start on this so just for the sake of it all above things happened

so now I think u will understand and give some suggestion on it!

Thank you very much.

Do not tell them to reduce any of your point as u deserve it.
Rachel

Dear Rachel,

Thank you for explaining your targets!

I can't promise anything since this looks very time consuming and I'm only on vacation until tomorrow, returning to Vienna tomorrow night ... but what I will surely do is having a look at the PDUSpy source code and see if it can be enhanced to the functionality you seek.

Unfortunately I'm not a C programming expert -> even though I understand C -> my world is rather VB, VB.NET and C#.NET ... anyway, if I find anything useful I'll prepare it for you -> in a way that will enable you to open a new question in the C or C++ programming area -> and get help on C enhancements from C experts!

Best regards,
Raisor
