Hi - Here is the strangest problem I've ever seen. I have a laptop, wireless router (Linksys WRT54G), and a linksys access point. For some reason, not sure if its coincidence, but I installed a printer, and all of sudden, my connection to the wireless network was disconnected. I have excellent signal strength, but still could not connect. I recycled the router and the cable modem, but still could not connect to either the router or the access point. Then I thought there may be a channel conflict with the phones/router so I changed the channels, and STILL could not connect. Here's the kicker, I took the laptop outside about 30 feet from the house, and connected to the router successfully. And YES, it is correct router not someone elses. I then went inside the house, and the connection DIED. COULD NOT CONNECT AT ALL AGAIN! I refreshed the available wireless networks, saw my router, tried to connect, but couldnt - I went outside again, same spot, same router, connected just fine AGAIN!! I dont get it !?!?! I even updated the driver for the wireless card, and it didnt make a difference - So basically, why would this work outside of the house but not inside the house with the same router???i'm truly stumped! HELP!
