Reseat the wireless card. if that doesn't work the card may be defective as it isn't being seen in device manager.

location of the wireless card on a compaq nx6110 business notebook
I have a Compaq nx6110 notebook and it is wireless, but I am not able to turn on the wireless card.
I am running Win Xp Pro.
There is a button nert to the power button for the wireless card, but no response.
I can't find the card listed under my network settings or device manager.
I used to work by pushing on the button, but know no light.
