Can you make Windows connect to the wireless network with the best signal?

Asked by wthero in Wireless Technologies, Windows XP Operating System, Wireless Networking

I've got a laptop, and a bunch of wireless access points with different SSIDs around my plant.  They are all ultimately connected to the same network.  I am also using the standard Windows wireless networking tool for connecting to these networks.  Is there a way to tell Windows to connect to the wireless network with the best signal, rather than the wireless network that is higher in the preferred order list?Start Free Trial
