Ciaco Access point Configuration

Asked by annasad in Wireless Technologies, Network Routers, Cisco PIX Firewall

Hi giys ... I have two different Model of Cisco Access points ... One is Cisco Aironet 1131 and one is 1242 .

My qsuestion is this .....

I have taken the configurations  back up of 1131 and i want to make same Replica  of 1242 with this configuration now both are of different model and IOS . I want to ask if my configuration file will work with 1242 Access point . As i dont want to con figure each one by Command prompmt . i want to upload it with the configuration file ....

and same I have a question ... a few days back my Router got down ... it was cisco 2611 xm with two eathernet ports and one 4 A/s and one WIC 2T .  whom i am 1 port of WIC 2T and 3 ports out of WIC 4 A/S

when my router got down .. i had to take a new Router which could fulfill minimal requirements and thi is was Cisco 1720 with 2 WIC 2T's and one Eathernet . which connects my Four Remote Sites . I want to ask if my configuraiton file for Cisco 2611XM will work for 1720 .
I particularly think not . As previous configuration will come up with different Port number and new Router has different Slots .

Please Clear me on these Two Points
