Hello, thanks for responding. I actually figured out the problem. I selected a wireless channel ( which I've never had to do before) and bang... Connected straight away, including my WII console.
Cheers

Browse All TopicsHello. I have 2 Laptops (built in wireless) and a desktop (wireless PCI) and have just switched to BT
They have supplied me with a Home Hub 2. For the life of me i cannot get any system to access the router using wireless. They all connect via ethernet.
I've had the Hub replaced and have still got the same problem. I also have a WII console and that can't connect either. I'm a server engineer so understand how (normally) hot to setup a wireless network but this one has me stumped. No matter what encryption level I choose i get teh same result - "unable to connect". I believe it to be a fault with the hub but wanted to ask the question because someone may have had the same problem themselves and been able to resolve it.
Any suggestions welcome....
Thank you.
Jason

One possibility might be that the wireless drivers you have are somehow not compatible with the new hub (not unknown) and need to be upgraded or perhaps even just re-installed. Another, very, very faint, possibility is that the hub has MAC filtering enabled and you need to enter the MAC addresses into the hub. This seems most unlikely. .... ThinkPads_User
