Asked by maharlika in Wireless Technologies, 802.11 Wireless Access Points, Miscellaneous
I need to put in wireless interenet access for patients and visitors at our facility. I'll just use dsl or T1, with wireless AP's throughout. However, I don't want the wireless devices on our existing, secured network to be able to access this open network--they will be in the same physical proximity, and are already using our secured wireless network. I don't want to do something like MAC acl because it would be very cumbersome to add all these devices and keep it updated. Likewise, I don't want to hide the ssid so that it is easier for visitors to access. So how can I make our devices so that they don't even try to get on the unsecured, open wireless network?
Thanks!
