WiFi site preference in GPO settings

In Windows Server 2008 we have created a Wireless network (IEEE 802.11) policy for our laptops.
In the Vista settings I have unticked "Connect to a more preferred network if available" assuming that it will connect to the one with the most signal.

In the Windows XP policy is there some way of doing this as we have some laptops trying to connect in some areas to a Wireless AP with very little to no signal whereas there is a AP nearby with full signal.

The policies are set up as WPA802.1x with PEAP & a security certificate.Start Free Trial
