Hi everyone:
I just reinstalled my Bluetooth dongles on two computers after a long time and realized that WinXP now provides inbuilt support for such devices by way of drivers, etc. However, I was very unpleasantly surprised to see that file transfer (which is the only thing I use Bluetooth for at the moment) plain sucks!! The insistence on starting BT File Transfer Wizard on both computers to transfer a single file between them is bad enough but the inability to transfer folders really takes the buscuit. This takes micromanagement to a whole new level.
Now, am I missing something here or is it really the case that there's no way around this way of doing things? Does Win XP SP2 really prevent the user from transferring more than a single file through the laborious BT File Transfer Wizard process? If so, then is it possible the axe Win XP SP2 "support" for Bluetooth and use my own (of course, older) driver?
I hope that made sense and thanks to everyone in advance.
