I want to create a program for a Pocket PC 6700 with a Motorola bluetooth earpiece.
Currently the system works as such: When a call is coming in, I hear a beep in the bluetooth unit and I have to touch the button on the bluetooth unit to answer the call. If I want to know who is calling before I answer the call, I have to dig the phone out of my pocket and look at the display to see who is calling, which is quite inconvenient, especially if my hands are dirty or occupied.
I want to create a program that will fire off after the beep is sent to the earpiece that will read the text that is displayed in the phone, convert the text to voice and send the message to the earpiece where I can respond by saying answer or ignore, whereby if I say answer, I can begin my conservation with the caller, on the other hand, if I say ignore, the call will go to voicemail.
Since the phone has the latest version of Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0 OS 5.1.195 (build 14847.2.0.0) that includes a utility that allows me to speak into the phone into the phone that I want to call provided I setup the voice tag. Therefore, I want to create another program that will allow me to press the button on the bluetooth unit twice, which will activate the built in voice-tag utility, allowing me to speak into the bluetooth unit the person I want to call, such as John Dow cell, thereby establishing the call.
I searched around for an application that would do what I am trying to accomplish, but was unable to find anything like it. If such applications exist, I would like to purchase it, otherwise I want to build it. If I have to build the programs, could you please tell me what development tools I will need to use and how to accomplish what I am proposing.
