Yes could be the problem actually. I will give it a try! Just need to go through the format/reinstall process first though!
Thanks

Browse All TopicsHello - I've had a very hard time trying to make BlueSoleil ver 3.2.2, Nokia PC Suite ver 6.85 and WIN XP2 SP2 working. I know that SP2 has integrated BT drivers which according to IVT has to be "disconnected" by rename bth.inf to fx. bth.old before installing BlueSoleil. BlueSoleil/Mobile Phone WITHOUT PC Suite works like a charm. I can run the PC/Mobile sync. in PC Suite, but that's it, all other functions are not working. Error message: No connection to units/Mobile Phone! - but the PC/Mobile sync. just ran???
I know a LOT of people have this problems with the Nokia PC Suite software, and I've read a lot of threads, but not found any working solutions. Obviously it's a matter of the BT driver used by Windows, but I have not had any luck trying to solve this VERY annoing problem. It's driving Me crazy!
I could possibly use an earlier version of BlueSoleil fx. 1.6.1.4 which PC Suite accepts (acconding to some users) - but I'd like very much to have the 3.2 ver. to accept PC Suite, because it's the VOiP/Skype optimized version. The goal is to use the Jabra BT 250V Bluetooth headset with Skype. Some have suggested just to try/use the Win SP2 included BT driver, but this driver does not support headset.
However all my struggling with this problem - and some other too- has make Me decide to format and reinstall My HD/Win XP, just to be ABSOLUTELY sure that the problem not is an old "build up" problem - or anything else which could be related to My system.
I'm using a genuine BT 2.0 - backward compatible to ver 1.1 - Class1 BlueSoleil BlueTooth Dongle - licenced, should not the problem! This dongle use the CSR chip (Cambridge System Radio).
Thank's in advance

I had a similar problem where the Nokia software said it was connected to the phone but I couldn't transfer anything between devices. Turned out that my Bluetooth dongle was somehow broken and buying a new one solved the problem. A sure way to find out would be to test your kit on another computer and see what happens.
