I just bought a new MacBook. I have a Motorola Krzr cell phone and I am successfully able to connect my Krzr to my MacBook to get online to surf the Web, basically turning my cell phone into a modem, connecting via Bluetooth. The problem is, the connection speed is extremely slow, I'd estimate it to be much slower than 56K. Each web page seems to take forever to finish downloading. My question is, is this normal for a bluetooth connection? Or, is there a bottleneck somewhere and if so, would it be my cell phone, my wireless provider (AT&T wireless), or with the MacBook? I am also able to connect my cell phone to the MacBook via a USB cable and I seem to have slightly faster download speed with the cable, probably right at 56K, but still faster then with the bluetooth connection to the MacBook. Any suggestions on if this can be improved, or is this slow speed normal for a bluetooth connection and my type of cell phone and wireless carrier? Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.
