Blackberry Bluetooth Problem

Hi

I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 with an Asus Laptop and Vista Business.

Initially connected the phone to my laptop via Bluetooht with no problem but recently the phone and the laptop and the phone do not recognise each other via bluetooth.

I have deleted and unpaired the devices but still they do not detect each other.

The laptop does detect other devices and so does the blackberry

Any ideas?

Try clearing out the bluetooth options on the blackberry. To do this, plug your blackberry into the computer,
open desktop manager
double-click on backup & restore
go into advanced
scroll down to bluetooth options on the right hand side
click clear

then try pairing again. Also it may be worth a shot to reset the blackberry and the computer.

They may detect other devices, but can they pair with other devices.

I had the same thing a few weeks ago with a head set and a bb. Turns out the Headset was bad.

Tell us what the result is. If you have any problems clearing out bluetooth options it could because of the BES (if you are connected to one) and there is a workaround for that.
