Microcontroller to GPRS

Hi,

I need to send data from microcontroller by email using GPRS. Does any one know where I can start from?
P.S:I can send the data from the microcontroller serially.

Mazen,

GPRS is _packet_-switched network (not a cirquit-switched)!
All GPRS devices I have in my hands required that you put PPP  traffic on serial connection between PC/palm/other equipment and GPRS device. So your microcontroller should start speaking and understanding PPP. And on top of that you will need to get a SMTP client which will contact SMTP server via PPP.

Hi monas,

I found what you have given me usefull ,but I've been told about some chips that allows the interfacing of a  microcontroller to a GSM that supports GPRS. So i was wondering do you know any of these chips?
