well if you are asking about more details of the modem then yes i can give you some more detail. we use a Modem From the website listed above to packetize and transmit Serial RS232 straight off a PC or mobile hardware to another machine over TCP/IP (Serial IP) the modem is really slick it basicaly sends whatever you pump out the Serial Com port to whatever is connected to the modem, and since the modem gets its ISP service from a Cellular provider is can easily send SMS messages aswell. You can communicate with the modem via Hyperterminal, Telnet or any third party TCP/IP app, using simple AT Commands
So basicly you could use one of these modems to have your desktop client send your commands and Message out your Serial Port to the modem which will then broadcast it as a SMS message from the cellular provider.
