Wireless channel selection

Hello Wireless Experts -
I have a new question for you guys.  We have purchased an industrial D-Link Wireless solution and the equipment is working very well in the areas of the school that we have deployed it.  My question is this:  we want to basically have a wireless "cloud" so there is access at any point in the whole school and I am wondering if I set the AP's so that the channel is on auto select will each AP select the best one to keep from interfering with the other AP's?  Or do I have to try and lay them out so that the fields that overlap are separated by 5 channels (1, 6, 11 etc.)?  Thanks for all of you suggestions in advance.Start Free Trial
