I'm just in the planning stage, not selected equipment yet.
There is clear LOS, I need recommendations on equipment and advice on configuration.

Plenty of choices for equipment, and like other network gear the choice depends somewhat on features and how much do you have in your pocket book.
I have used Proxim QuickBridges and they have worked well and have reasonable cost point. Pretty much a no frills setup and configuration. But they get the job done.

Of course you could step up to the Cisco product series. I little more expensive, but many more features.
Cisco has a nice marketing guide here:

And they have a calculation spreadsheet here:

Do you have a bandwidth requirement between the two sites? Are you planning on running any latency sensitive applications over the link?

Just a few ideas of the top of head.
First place to start is to ensure that you have a clear line of sight between the two locations. Then start figuring out the type of output you will need to push the signal across the link. Do a Google search on outdoor wireless link spreadsheets and you should find a few samples.
Outdoor links usually come down to LOS and the amount of signal required to get the link up. Plus the higher the signal the more bandwidth across the link.
Do you have more details about what equipment your looking at or anything else?
I can probably provide additional info later tonight.
