I am attempting to setup 8 Cloudbook CE1200Vs for a time tracking program.  I am really just setting them up and locking them down to just view the internet website I need them to go to.  I have the systems installed with XP SP3.  I am now trying to change settings using GPO on an OU without inharitance enabled.  My issue is the Computer GPO will not apply.  I have found that it is due to the fact the computer doesn't connect to the wireless internet until I log in.  This is no good.

After much research and a small dent in my forehead I have found that I think I need to turn on the "Authenticate as computer when computer information is availabe" setting.  My office is out in the woods.  No one gets close enough to connect to my WAN without me knowing it.  So I usually don't use the security options at all.  However, I need to have the IEEE 802.1x authentication setup.

Question:  What is the min security settings I can setup on my routers so that I can utilize this IEEE 802.1x setting?Start Free Trial
