Lenovo Laptop SL 500

I have a brand new laptop that will not connect to secured WIFI networks. Any one know how to fix this?

I usually uninstall the Lenovo " Thinkvantage Access Connections" software and give the control back to Windows.

If you keep the Access Connections software, you'll need to use it to connect to secured wifi's.

I do not see that in the add remove programs. how do I find it?

You need to supply the network credentials to be able to connect (wep key or whatever you have...)!
