I have 5 Desktop computers and 2 Laptop computers on my Home LAN. 3 Desktops are on XP Pro and all the others are Vista Premium. Everything was fine and then one of the XP Computers that is connected wireless is not showing the "connection Strength" icon in the system tray. Also any time that "MY Network Places" is opened, the computer hangs and requires a hard restart. Also hangs if you pause the mouth on the "Connect to:" menu option under the START menu.
The computer is able to go on the Internet without any issue though, so it is connected to the network. I did a repair with Glary Utilities, and an AVG scan that caught 6 trojans it said. No improvement though.
Using an Ambit cable modem/router provided by my ISP and the default Windows wireless monitoring utility. I'm sure you will need more information, so just let me know and I will add it.
Appreciate any help. I hate dealing with networking issues.
