Browse All TopicsWe have user profiles that are in sync with AD and the iSeries. Users get auto logged in to the iSeries applications based on there windows user id. We have reports that are located on iseries IFS network location. When users that dont have full secofr rights browse to the location to see the reports, they get prompted to log in. If they log in with there iSeries password they can get to the location. But isnt there away to have the Kerberos connection validate the user so they dont have to log in? Users generally dont know their iSeries passwrod b/c they dont have to for any other application, this causes a bunch of calls to support.
