Downloaded firmware from Lacie site which was updated recently but drive's been superseeded with 3 tray model, safe to apply?

Biggest F800 firmware 1.40
Fixes:
- Fixed PATA hard drive detection issue.
- Fixed allocation ID issue of Hard drive, if move one of hard drive of F800
to another F800 After rebuilding the F800 can't recognize the hard drive.

Oynx causes fatal languages crash screen near half way, Disk Warrior crashes after entering password, TechTool Pro 4.0.6 not tested, 4.1.1 wont accept serial and crashes after hammering.

What is advisable?
