I recently came into a used macbook that came with everything (cables, mouse, cds, etc).
Since it was used, I would like to restore it back factory settings (as if I just brought it brand new from the store).
I'm used to restoring PC back to factory settings with a restore/recovery disc; and the macbook came with a Mac OS disc, which I'm guessing restores the OS back to factory settings.
Since it's my first contact with a Macbook, is there anything important I should know or keep in mind before restoring? Is it as simple as restoring a PC? and how do I load the Mac OS disc (does it boot up auto or run from os?).
