Cpanel (Unix, Squirrel mail) Excessive CPU time and Suspicious process

*Suspicious Process* PID:7403 User:xxxxxxx Uptime:102 secs EXE:/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php-cgi CMD:/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php-cg
i /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/squirrelmail/src/right_main.php

is one of several messages i see in server error logs, all pertaining to Squirrel webmail.
How can i determine what is causing this, surely this is not normal operation.
It's been happening for years, never have gotten around to researching.

Hi,

You are recieving the email as it is using php-cgi.

You can find more information on the CSF forums here: http://forum.configserver.com/showthread.php?t=1442

It does tell you how to stop the alerts.
