Browse All TopicsHi All,
I have a java project from which I can create a single runnable jar file. The problem is that my server where I want to run it only has a plesk environment where I can upload a war file. Note that my application does not have a gui or a web interface. It simply writes files which should be placed inside the public html where they can be downloaded.
The problem is that I don't know how to create a war file from my jar file. Also, usual war projects extend httpservlet or something and some function will be triggered when a GET-request is made. I don't have that: I want my application to "just simply run" on the server and write its files. How do I proceed?

If I am not mistaken, you will have to create a web project and use something like a Servlet that loads at startup of web application to trigger the initial execution of your runnable code.
