Something had to have changed on the server for it to just stop working one day. Have you tried restarting sendmail? Did someone enable selinux or something else that would block sendmail's execution?

Browse All TopicsHi, everything was working ok on my linux web hosting server, until today.
Squirrelmail 1.4.2 is giving the following message after user clicks "send":
"Warning: popen,curl_exec,curl_multi
been disabled for security reasons in /usr/share/squirrelmail/cl
I also tried IMP/Horde, which gives me the following error:
"There was an error sending your message: Failed to open sendmail [/var/qmail/bin/sendmail] for execution."
Outlook still works over IMAP/SMTP
Any ideas?

this thread looks like it's of interest for our case:
/showthrea d.php?t=75 426
g/conf.php . 'host'] = 'localhost';
http://forum.parallels.com
I tried editing the two lines below in as per the suggestions:
/usr/share/psa-horde/confi
$conf['mailer']['params'][
$conf['mailer']['type'] = 'smtp';
So now Horde works, but squirrelmail still gives the same error.
