Hard Drive Performance (bootle necking)

Asked by sinner in Linux Administration

Hello,
I often use top,w, and ps to see how the server is doing CPU wise and Mem wise...
But is there a way to measure the performance of a hard drive?? To measure how much information it is reading/writing etc?

Thanks
