You can also use a proxy. Squid is a good choice and comes with suse 8.0
BTW, update suse to 8.1. suse 8.0 is not the best distribution around

Browse All TopicsHi all,
I've just installed SuSE 8.0 on one of my comps at home and after a while i got it p and running and connected to the Internet via a cabe modem.
The problem I know have is, I'm unable to connect my windows comps to the internet through the new Linux box?
I am new to Linux so laymans terms please :)
What should I be looking for?
The windows boxes can ping the SuSE box but that's it at the mo, can't ping exteral sites or get any other kind of connection.
Thanks in advance.
