Browse All TopicsI have a Linux system with SCSI peripherals some of which were not powered on when I loaded the system. If I power on these peripherals they are not visible - I need a command/program to force the SCSI card to re-scan the Bus.
This sort of thing seems to be available in other Unix style OS's ( e.g. aix and solaris )

Though SCSI is not designed for hot-plugging you may be in luck.
