I logged into one of my servers this morning to find this as a greeting.

-bash: /bin/egrep: cannot execute binary file
-bash: /bin/egrep: cannot execute binary file
-bash: /bin/egrep: cannot execute binary file
-bash: /bin/egrep: cannot execute binary file
-bash: /bin/hostname: cannot execute binary file
-bash: /bin/grep: cannot execute binary file
-bash: /bin/grep: cannot execute binary file

FC4.  I have never seen this before, what can I do.

Some more information.  I try to run it /bin/grep or /bin/vi and I get the same message, if I try to cd /bin and then run vi or grep I get the same error.  There are other binary files in there that will run without any problems.Start Free Trial
