Setting up Rsync

I have used rsync very simply in the past ie:

rsync -av user@ipaddress:/from_server_path/ /to_server_path/

This being done at command line in an SSH session, and thus passwords entered manually.

However I would ideally like to automate this process so that I can fire off a sync job as and when required.

Is there away that this can be achieved, ie avoiding password entry each time and being able to call such a job from cron or similar....
