Q. How will Microsoft support non-Windows environments?
A.
We are currently planning to focus our efforts on protecting other members of the Windows Server and Microsoft application family. We do not currently offer native support for non-Windows environments, but will continue to listen to feedback from customers and evaluate demand for heterogeneous support for in the future. We do offer native support for non-Windows platforms and applications when they are running as guests on a Windows Host however.
