Here is what I'm trying to do.
I have a 4Gb USB Drive that I want to install GRUB as the boot loader and have Kubuntu and DSL as options to boot. After the OS has booted I want the unused space on the USB drive to be available. I think it should be pretty easy after I install GRUB but, I'm not sure if a partition is needed for GRUB, DSL, Kubuntu and the free space. Or, if it would be possible w/ 2 partitions (GRUB and Free Space) and the 2 OS's go in under GRUB somewhere. Hope this makes sense.
1) I've done some research and found basic instructions for installing GRUB on a USB drive.
