I'm trying to install an ORiNOCO Classic Gold PC Card in the pcmcia adapter on Fedora core 6. I don't know where to begin, i am really a newbie. I am not sure if my PCMCIA is working first. In case it is not then how do I make it work. Moreover I don't have eth1.
I read this review about my card: "This is a great wireless card for Linux. I'm using it on a Compaq Presario 1270 with Slackware 10 Linux and it was autodetected on boot. The orinoco module is compiled into my 2.4.30 kernel along with wireless networking enabled"
