Networking not working in VMWare Workstation 6 on Fedora 8 on wireless

I'm running VMWare workstation 6.0.2 build-59824 (the latest) on Fedora 8 x86_64 with all updates (kernel 2.6.23.9-85.fc8 SMP x86_64).

My ethernet and wireless controllers are both broadcom:
09:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5755M Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (rev 02)
0c:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI (rev 01)

When I boot a virtual machine I get an error (below).  When I use wired network (eth0) the networking works, but not when I use wireless (wlan0).  I've tired bridging to eth0 and to wlan0, both through vmnet0, re-running vmware-config.pl each time.  No compile errors or module insertion errors.  Originally I had vmnet0 bridged to eth0 and vmnet2 bridget to wlan0, which is what I wanted so that I don't have to re-configure when I change... but I've simplified for troubleshooting purposes.

The wireless is working through ndiswrapper.  Maybe ndiswrapper just doesn't work with vmware?

The error my be nothing to worry about, since it happens on both eth0 and wlan0.Start Free Trial
