I would like to learn the command line or the GUI is fine. I don't know where to extract it, or where to put the extracted files or what to do with the files once they are extracted (this is the property of the floola file: executable (application/x-executable)

I have downloaded the file in my home directory in the download folder if that matters.
Here is the message I got, THank you for your help:
[root@localhost kathco]# gunzip -c floola-linux.tar.gz | tar xvf -
gzip: floola-linux.tar.gz: No such file or directory
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
[root@localhost kathco]#
I typed that and this is what I got.
