how to add and where to place the  .java.policy for the particular user in Fedora 11 since one of the application requires the .java.policy

put in the user's HOME directory (as below)

if possible can you please send the error message/log (if any)

you may also try by passing policy file from command prompt as below

java -Djava.security.policy=<path>
