I am trying to find a distribution of Linux which I can customise easily to automatically setup a new computer. The distribution should be able to boot from a USB memory stick and automatically (after user confirmation) format and partition the computer and copy files from the memory stick to the computer and reboot into the newly installed system (Windows XP Embedded). Preferably the solution should be free for commercial use and not have any license requirements (such as making the product open source). Also it would be useful if customers could download and install this onto their own memory sticks to use.
If anyone has any suggestions of what would be the best way of achieving this, please reply.
