Read the /etc/sysconfig/hwconf file or just quary the driver rpm
eg.
rpm -qa | grep qla
hp_qla2x00src-8.01.06.01-8

Browse All TopicsI need to know what version a driver is that I have installed on my machine. Is there a command I can run to find this out? The driver name is qla2xxx. modprobe -l qla2xxx doesn't give me the information I need. Thanks.

I was searching for something similar and this did not help me.
But I found the info I was looking for.
I was looking for the version of the mptfusion driver I was using under suse 9.3
I found the answer here:
cat /proc/mpt/version
So you just might find other dvice`s driver version hidden in the /proc filesystem.

qla2xxx is part of kernel distibution, therefore check for kernel version only.
uname -r
