Hello Everyone. I am currently installing a new server running RHEL5 that will replace my current RHEL4 server. The RHEL4 server has an iSCSI node with an XFS partition on it. I have successfully connected to the iSCSI node on the new server but when I try to mount the XFS partition using the command "mount -t xfs /dev/sdc1 /mnt/dir", I get the error "mount: Operation not supported." SELinux is running in permissive mode. I am stumped and cannot figure out why it will not mount. Any one have any ideas? Thanks!

Hmm. I'm a big fan of SELinux, and always try to resolve the problem without disabling it, since it provides a lot of security. I've yet to see a situation where permissive mode blocks something. If you'd like to modify the policies to work with SELinux, post the messages you're seeing in the audit log.

Are there any corresponding messages in the /var/log/audit/audit.log file? Even though it should be allowed in permissive mode, perhaps there's an additional clue from selinux, since it would have been my first guess.
