RedHat VM will not install when set to Paravirtualized. It cannot see the HDD/No disks to install too

Fully virtualised RedHat 4 & 5 installs ok as VM on Suse10sp1 XEN but the same install DVD's will not see the HDD when installing as Paravirtualised VM's.......Do i need to use a Floppy with the Driver for the HDD/Array controller.
