How to change permissions on a Ubuntu directory

Here's the deal: I have downloaded a Ubuntu distro with Wordpress installed. I have downloaded a new directory called "stardust-v10". I can use a ls command to see the directory, however, I can't use the CD command to the directory - I get a messsage stating it's not a directory. I can access the other 2 directories residing in the parent directory. I ran a ls -l and was wondering if the permissions need changing - see below for comparison.

drwxrwxr-x 2 admin www-data 4096 Feb 18 07:46 classic
drwxrwxr-x 3 admin www-data 4096 Feb 18 07:46 default
-rw-r--r-- 1 admin admin     170 Apr  2 09:11 stardust-v10
