Browse All TopicsHi Experts :)
Where else do I set the proxy up in Ubuntu?
What I have managed?
1) Change the file /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/proxy to read: Acquire::http::Proxy "http://172.16.66.6:8002";
2) $ export http_proxy="http://172.16.
3) $ export ftp_proxy="http://172.16.6
4) Change proxy in Firefox
5) Change proxy settings in Synaptic Packet Manager
6) System>Preferences>Network
But still the Clock and Weather Plugin don't see the Web and cannot update weather. It is not possible to update some packages in Synaptic Packet Manager (namely the msttcorefonts), etc.
What am I missing?
Sincerely,
The Terrible Potworny ;)
