After upgrading my Dell 2900 server to Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 I can now auto-mount my Seagate Free Agent 750GB eSATA drive and fix a password so that Ubuntu will not always prompt for user credentials. However, I'm running a VMware Virtual Server on the same system and the Virtual Servers cannot access the drive until I access the eSATA drive once in Ubuntu's file manager. Any idea on how I can make the eSATA drive accessible before the VMware server starts its VM's? These VM's use the drive for extra storage that the Dell server does not have.
Thanks,
Merc
